The Surgical Center at SOPAI Philanthropic Children’s Hospital stands out as a space dedicated to the specialized care and treatment of children. SOPAI’s highly qualified healthcare team works tirelessly to ensure the well-being of young patients, making the surgical center a key element in the hospital’s mission to provide exceptional and accessible pediatric care.

To date, we have carried out seven surgical campaigns (mutirões), benefiting more than 4,500 children and their families. In partnership with the State of Ceará and the City of Fortaleza, we have successfully eliminated waiting lists in specific surgical categories within the Brazilian Unified Health System (SUS).
